Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

NU Starts Away Weekend with Draw

PORTLAND, OR - The Northwest University women's soccer team tied 1-1 against Multnomah.

NU controlled most of the game and had more opportunities on goal. The Lions got on the board first in the 26th minute. The Eagles responded with a goal three minutes later by Kambree Dego assisted by Anais Stephany.

Northwest outshot Multnomah 20 to five but only managed seven on goal.

Katie Snow had four saves in the game.

Head Coach April Van Assche said, "Today's game had some strong moments as we worked on creating more shooting opportunities. We were not able to find the net as much as we were hoping, although we are looking forward to bouncing back and hopefully working on that in tomorrow's game."
