Game Recap: Women's Volleyball |

NU Swept by Beacons

KIRKLAND, WA - The Eagles faced a strong Bushnell team that ended up overpowering them to finish the weekend with a loss.

NU came out strong in the first set and led for a good portion leading up to the final points. Bushnell was able to fight off NU's set point and take the first set, 26-24.

From there, the Beacons carried the momentum while the Eagles struggled to find a good rhythm, which ultimately led to Northwest losing in straight sets.

Head Coach Steve Bain commented, "A disappointing outcome against a talented Bushnell squad that made the plays when the first set was on the line and from that point, they were able to control the match. I am confident though that our ladies will continue to invest in our process as we prepare for another challenging week of competition."

Delaney Sparks led NU with nine kills, Morgan Harter tallied 23 assists, and Ellie Van Berkum gathered 15 digs.
