Butte, MT - The Northwest men's basketball team wrapped up in the Best Western Tip-Off Classic with a loss to Montana Western, 84-65. 

The Eagles went 23 of 57 for the full game, improving on their performance from their game against Montana Tech. The Eagles scored 36% in three-pointers and went 5 for 8 in free throws in the first half, but the Bulldogs were able to score 47% of their shots and went 7 for 9 in free throws to go up 48-29 at the half. 

The Eagles and Bulldogs both scored 36 points in the second half, which was an improvement from the Eagles' first half. The Eagles were able to convert nearly half of their field goals and score 6 for 11 on free throws. However, the Bulldogs kept their distance, scoring exactly half of their field goals and free throws in the second half, propelling them to the win.

Tay Aubry-Thomas led the team in points with 14, with Filip Mugosa able to break 10 points on the night.
