Seattle, WA - The Northwest men's basketball team could not keep up against Seattle University as the Eagles fell prey to the Redhawks, 80-52.

Northwest men's basketball team established themselves early on as the more physical team with a grand total of 33 personal fouls. Despite the fouls, the Eagles were able to stay in the game for the first half against a D1 School, shooting 10 for 22 and making 33% of their free throws. However, the Redhawks were able to keep a cool head, leading the Eagles 38-30 at the half.Â

Once the second half started, the Redhawks put their foot on the gas and did not let up. The Eagles simply could not keep up with the home side as the Redhawks converted 34.29% of their field goals and made 40% on their three-pointers. The Redhawks also converted 72.5% of all free throws, thanks to the aggressive style of the Eagles, allowing the Redhawks to rout the Eagles, 80-52.Â

No one on the Eagles was able to break 10 points, but Nash Wobrock led the team with eight points, with Tay Aubry-Thomas scoring seven.Â
