ASHLAND, OR - Despite a hard fought battle by the Eagles, the men opened their road trip with a tough loss to the Southern Oregon Raiders, 86-76.

Throughout the game, the teams traded shots while Northwest stayed within close range of the Raiders. In a back-and-forth first half, the Eagles found themselves down by seven going into halftime.Â

As Southern Oregon got out to a strong start in the second half, the Eagles were forced to play catch up to try and come from behind. Northwest was able to get within six with 1:40 left in the game to give them a fighting chance. Ultimately, the Raiders were able to seal the victory.Â

Northwest saw four Eagles reach double digits for the night.
Luke Howard led the team with 18 points.
Nash Wobrock and
Miciah Hagan were right behind Howard with 17 each.
Manuel Zapater brought in 15 points.Â
