Eagles Fall to Owls: 74-59

KLAMATH FALLS, OR - Northwest finishes a difficult road trip with a 59-74 loss to the ranked Oregon Tech Owls.

The Eagles got out to a tough start that had them playing from behind early on in the game. Northwest was able to make up some ground in the second quarter and cut the lead to six as the teams went into halftime. The Owls came out of halftime strong and were able to widen their lead. While the Eagles were able to post 25 in the fourth quarter, Oregon Tech maintained its rhythm and was able to come away with the win.

"Good effort by the lady Eagles tonight against another nationally ranked team," said Head Coach Ken Crawford. "Played hard throughout and had some of our younger players gain valuable experience in a very difficult and exciting setting. We are ready  to come home and celebrate our seniors next weekend."

Kylie Lunday led the Eagles with 13 points. Maya DuChesne was not far behind her with 11, and Grace Harder brought in 10.

Northwest will start its final home weekend of the regular season with Eastern Oregon University at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
