PORTLAND, OR - Northwest completed the season sweep of the Multnomah Lions as it soared to victory, 72-59.

The first quarter proved an even matchup as the teams went back and forth, taking turns with the lead. The Eagles turned on the gas for the second quarter as they opened the quarter on a 14-0 run. Northwest was able to continue that momentum and hold a nine-point lead going into half.Â

Multnomah came out determined to not let the Eagles run away with the game as it fought to get within striking distance. As the Lions came close, Northwest was able to hang onto the lead going into the final ten minutes. In the final push of the game, the Eagles were able to get their rhythm going as they gained a double-digit lead again. With that, they were able to take home the win.Â

Kylie Lunday who brought in 23 points and 10 rebounds.
Alli VanKooten knocked down 12 points, and
Maya DuChesne tallied 10.Â

Northwest will head to Warner Pacific University tomorrow to close out the 2023-24 regular season.Â
