CALDWELL, ID - The Northwest University men's soccer team lost today to The College Idaho, 6-3.
The College of Idaho got the first two goals, then André Santos answered with a goal assisted by Matthew Ludlow. The game was back and forth, with the Yotes having the better first half of play. Before half, COI added two more goals. Elliot Misic scored an unassisted goal for NU to bring the game closer at halftime, 4-2.
Misic put Northwest on the board first in the second half, bringing the game within reach at 4-3. The Eagles created several good chances but could not score them. With NU trying to push to find a goal to tie the game, Idaho was able to counterattack and score two more in the last eight minutes to put the game out of reach, 6-3.
Michael Kot had 10 saves in the game.
