KIRKLAND, WA - The Eagles earn their first conference win of the season by sweeping Warner Pacific University, 3-0.
The Knights kept it a back and forth battle in set one and forced Northwest to earn their points. Each of the three sets proved a close match, but the Eagles held on to come out on top.
"We had our struggles early in the match as Warner Pacific put us on our heels, setting an example with their energy, intentional serving and solid defense. It took us half a set to match their intention but once we did, we were able to put pressure on them with our own serving, which allowed us to score points and take control of the match," said Head Coach Steve Bain.
Aubree Dees led the Eagles with 10 kills.
