Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Eagles Soar Over Warriors: 4-0

SALEM, Ore. - The Northwest University women's soccer team delivered a commanding performance on Friday, October 10, 2025, defeating Corban University with a decisive 4-0 shutout victory in Salem, Oregon.

The Eagles' offense was led by Gracie VanAssche, who contributed to three of the team's four goals, tallying two goals and one assist. Her first came six minutes into the game to give the Eagles a 1-0 advantage early. Sara Becerra tallied one goal, while Hailey Deese closed out the scoring in the 84th minute. 

Katie Snow and Ali Tiechner combined for a clean sheet on the day.

"Super proud of the team today in how we moved the ball around and got some good goals," said NU Head Coach April VanAssche. "Looking forward to the next game tomorrow and another chance to work hard together."

Northwest heads over to Eugene, Oregon, tomorrow to take on Bushnell at 4:30 PM.
