KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The national office announced the list of 2025 NAIA Scholar-Athletes for fall sports on Wednesday. The Eagles saw 34 fall athletes recognized with this award for their achievements in the classroom.
To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appear on the eligibility certificate for their sport, and have attended Northwest University for at least one full year.
Women's Soccer led the way with 11 student-athletes receiving the award:
Alivia Berry,
Kambree Degon,
Hailey Deese,
Talia Hurst,
Kennedy Leach,
Ava Mesisca,
Laura Rice,
Katie Snow,
Rachel Snow,
Madison Strother, and
Gracie VanAssche.
Men's and Women's Cross Country followed closely behind with nine athletes on the list:
Conner Blair,
Emri Butcher,
Rachel Elliott,
Marissa Guthrie,
Preston Hopp,
Lauren Jang,
Levi Nichols,
Jarron Ransford, and
Kai Ushikubo.
Women's Volleyball saw eight athletes honored:
Kalli Budge,
Aubree Dees,
Hailey Edwards,
Morgan Harter,
Masa Spela Jarc,
Haylee Koetje,
Kaitlyn Mickle, and
Ellie Van Berkum.
Men's Soccer rounded out the list with six athletes:
Ryan Anderson,
Samuel Brendle,
Bernardo Costa,
Joao Lucas Fonseca,
Max Kozorezov, and
Trevor VanAssche.
