The NU women's basketball team dropped an 86–53 decision to the College of Idaho, moving to 4–8 overall and 0–4 in conference play.
College of Idaho controlled the game from the opening tip, jumping out to an early lead and never relinquishing it. The Yotes led at the end of each quarter and closed the game with a decisive fourth-quarter surge, outscoring the Eagles 17–1 in the final period.
College of Idaho shot efficiently throughout the night, finishing at 49% from the field and 41% from beyond the arc. Mia Austin led all scorers for the Yotes with 15 points.
Northwest was paced by Ellie Bosts with 11 points, while Ella Whitaker added 10 points in the loss.
The Eagles will look to regroup when they return to action on January 2, traveling to Corban University in Salem, Oregon.
