Portland, OR - The Northwest women's basketball team dazzles from beyond the three-point line, outlasting Warner Pacific, 94-71.

The Eagles had a bitter loss against Evergreen State in a game in which their offense vanished. Hoping to rebound to form, the Eagles took on the Knights, who enter this matchup on a four-game losing streak. The Eagles and Knights last met during Christmas break when the Eagles managed a 71-60 win.

The Eagles' offense revived into form for a brilliant showing, especially from beyond the three-point line. Splashing 76.2% of their threes the entire game and hitting 55.2% of all their shots, the Eagles outmatched the Knights in every aspect.

The first quarter was near perfect for the Eagles, outsourcing their opponents 29-10 and shooting for 73.3% in the quarter. While the Knights were busy on the free throw line, shooting 21-32 (65.6%), the Eagles were more clinical, drilling 14-19 (73.7%). Along with the chugging offense, the Eagles were able to soar and soundly start the weekend with an impressive victory.

Kaleah Medeiros had an unbelievable performance, putting up a season-high 26 points, and Ellie De Waard displayed her sixth double-double of the season with 23 points and 11 rebounds.

"We shot the ball as well as we have all year, and it became a contagious thing," said Head Coach Randall Edens. "Kaleah had a perfect first half and had 22 first-half points to get us going. Charlize Katz had a magnificent first quarter.  Ellie De Waard had a huge double double, but today was fun. Hopefully we can keep it going."
