Eagles Draw For Third Game In A Row

KIRKLAND, Wash. - The Northwest women's soccer team were held to a 0-0 draw against Carroll College on Saturday.

The Eagles have been unable to shake off draws in the past two games with their most recent coming against Rocky Mountain College on Friday. The Saints have fared better with a five-goal explosion against Evergreen State College on Friday.

Despite the goalless draw, both teams had some good looks in shots as the Eagles scrounged 13 total shots while the Saints shot 16 total. With the shutout, Katie Snow stood on her head, backstopping eight of the Saints 16 shots.

Gracie VanAssche was busy as she shot six while only two of them landed on target and fellow striker Sara Becerra made two shots with both of them on target. Hayley Smith, Sydney Coulter, Rachel McAllister and Ella Kuenzli of the Saints all registered three total shots.

The Eagles will travel east to face the University of Providence on Thursday, October 2nd at 1:00 PM.
