Eagles Battle Hard on the Road, Fall 74–67 at Lewis-Clark State

LEWISTON, Idaho — The Northwest University men's basketball team showed resilience and competed throughout but came up short in a 74–67 road loss to Lewis-Clark State on Friday night at the P1FCU Activity Center.

Northwest carried a 40–35 lead into halftime after shooting 54.8 percent in the opening half and continued to battle on both ends as the game remained tight into the final minutes. The Warriors used a 39–27 second-half advantage to pull away late.

Lucius Fox paced the Eagles with 18 points, while Christian Watkins finished with 13 points and five rebounds. Rashid Potter added 10 points off the bench as Northwest finished even on the boards with Lewis-Clark State, 27–27.

The Eagles were limited to 29.2 percent shooting in the second half and went 4-of-22 from three-point range for the game. Lewis-Clark State shot 63.2 percent after the break and was led by Dylan Skaife's 16 points.

Northwest moves to 2–7 in Cascade Collegiate Conference play and will return to action tomorrow with another conference road matchup.
