No.12 Corban Ends Eagles' Season

Box Score SPRINGFIELD, Ore. – No. 12 ranked Corban scored two goals in each half to defeat Northwest U, 4—0, in a quarterfinal match-up in the 2015 CCC Championships. With the victory, Corban advances to the semifinals.

Nick Farr put Corban into the lead in the 19th minute with a bicycle kick from 12 yards out with an assist from Kemar Prince. At the 39:07 mark, Travez White took Nick Farr's pass for chip as he one touched the ball in for the Warrior's second goal. The half would end with Corban leading 2-0.

Corban got back into the scoring column in the 54th minute as Quamie Dinnall took Bobby Hutchin's cross from the right side to in front of the goal and finished from 15 yards out for the 3-0 lead. Kemar Prince wrapped up the scoring for the Warrior's scoring unassisted on a direct free kick from 40 yards out that would get by the NU goalkeeper, Daniel Christienson.

Jordan Farr earns the shutout in goal for Corban (17-2) with two saves in 85 minutes of play. NU's goalkeeper, Christenson made two saves as Corban outshot Northwest U 15-11. Northwest U (10-9) held the edge in corner kicks with six to Corban's one. Odason Pelogi had three shots, one shot on goal for the Eagles with Kyle Zimmerman getting two shots, one shot on goal.

"I'm very proud of our guys for their effort today," commented Gary McIntosh, NU head coach. "We played a very good Corban team today and they deserved the win. We had a tremendous season and the guys should be proud of what they have accomplished this year."

Corban will play Great Falls in a conference semifinal on Thursday at 4 p.m.
