Eagles' Home Opener Friday

KIRKLAND, Wash. - The weather forecast is great and the Eagle softball team is ready to take the field on Friday to open their home schedule and Cascade Conference play when they host Southern Oregon at Everest Park.

First pitch for game one is at noon with the second game starting at 2 p.m., or 25 minutes following completion of the first game.

Coach Mallory Tacdol, her staff and the Eagle team are all excited to play at home after playing eight straight games and a scrimmage on the road. They were able to get the feel for Everest Park on Wednesday when they hosted and swept a scrimmage doubleheader with Skagit Valley CC.

Come on out for some sun if you're in town and help cheer on the Eagles! School is out for spring break, so we need as many fans out to support our hard working NU softball team.

Everest Park is just past the 7-11 in the Houghton shopping area north of the campus. Take the first right (9th) past the 7-11 off 108th NE, then head east and turn left at 8th and the ballpark is just right up the street on the right.
