Home Opener for the Eagles

KIRKLAND, Wash. - The Eagle softball team is finally home after 12 games on the road and will open their 2016 home season Tuesday when they host the University of British Columbia at Everest Park (weather permitting).

UBC comes in 0-7 so far this season and this will be their conference opener. UBC is located in Vancouver, B.C., and has student body of over 51,000 students. They join Carroll, Great Falls, and Walla Walla as the newest members of the CCC in softball only.

NU is 2-0 and is in first place in their division in the new, two division CCC softball standings. The Eagles are in the West Division with solid teams Corban, Southern Oregon, Oregon Tech, Northwest Christian and UBC.

Game time for game one is 2 p.m. Game two will begin approximately 20 minutes after the completion of game one.

*Live stats will be available if the game is played at Everest Park. Should the game be moved to Hartman Park in Redmond, live stats will not be available do to weak wireless signals.
