Softball Home Opener Schedule Changed

KIRKLAND, Wash. - The home opening weekend for Eagle softball has been modified due to the impending wet weather in the area creating an unplayable field at Everest Park.

The games with Northwest Christian this Friday and Saturday have been moved to Saturday-Sunday and will be played at Cedar Park Christian High School in Bothell, north of the NU campus. CPHS has a turf field which would remain playable in wet weather whereas the field at Everest Park is natural grass and would not allow play.
 
Game times for Saturday are 5 and 7 pm and Sunday times are 2 and 4 pm. Any changes to this schedule will be posted on this Facebook page or on the NU Eagle web page.

The format of play has been changed this year having the teams play back-to-back doubleheaders with the first three games counting as league contests. The fourth game of the series will be counted as a non-conference game.
