"We talk about effort and resolve," said John Van Dyke, NU head coach, "and tonight, our effort in the second half resulted in a win for our team. Our defensive intensity in the second half is what propelled our offense. We were able to score 12 points off turnovers and we outscored Corban 22-2 on the break which was a result of our pressure. We need to carry over the second half to tomorrow night."

NU will take on Northwest Christian in the NU Pavilion while Corban travels to play Evergreen in Olympia, Wash. Both games tip off at 7:30 p.m.
