Alysanne Van Dyke had a team high 13 digs as 15 players saw action tonight. NU hit .216 as a team adding 7 service aces for the match which took 1 hour and 15 minutes to complete after a 70 minute delay in their starting time.

Trinity Christian (0-4) of Palos Heights, Ill., was led by Kacie Stoll's 11 kills and 7 digs. Dani VanLaten tied for match honors in assist with 22 and added 11 digs. Brianna Figueroa had a match high 25 digs for the Trolls in the loss.

Said NU head coach Steven Bain following the match: "It was terrific to end the tournament on a winning note, but credit Trinity Christian for putting us to the test. They were quick to the pins and had us in trouble with some tough serving, so it took us a while to stabilize and get in system. Once we did, we were able to side out at a high percentage and pressure them with our serve to take control of the match. It was a good trip for the Eagles and we look forward to another tough test next week in Montana."

Northwest U will return to Kirkland and then travel to Butte, Mont., for the Big Sky Challenge and four matches which begin August 25.
