Said Mark Mandi, Eagle head coach after the race, "On both the men's and women's side we had the best race of the year, and one of the most complete days I have seen since I have been here. Sarah Estabrook and Lily Engelbrekt gave us a strong one two punch for the women with a top 15 finish in the front of the race. Amberly Melendez came in as our third runner looking strong and controlled which gives us confidence as we move closer to the championship portion of the season. Rounding out our top five Kathryn Anderson and Quinn Dhaenens with strong finishes almost right next to one another. The depth on the women's side gives us hope as we can really make an impact at the conference championship in November."

On the men's side, it was sophomore Riley Sine the top finisher for the men for the third straight meet and an 18th place finish in the 8k with his time of 25:13.2, one second behind Jeff Groh of British Columbia. The men's team had a 12th place finish out of the 21 teams competing in their division. Kyle Cole was 98th in the field of 155 and finished in a time of 27:23.6. Gino Bruce was in at 27:26.7; Rafael Lara, 27:42.0; Craig Lambert, 28:36.3; Stephano Zakayo, 29:36.2; Owen Balthis, 30:09.6; David Walling, 32:22.5; and, Carter Dornfeld, 32:37.8.

Mandi on the men, "Riley Sine led our group well and was competitive up front, finishing in the top 20 of a very competitive field. Kyle Cole, Gino Bruce, and Rafael Lara all finished within 12 spots of one another giving us the much needed depth we have been looking for. Craig Lambert, one our newcomers, continues to figure out the 8k distance and is getting better every race. The rest of the men finished strong with either strong debuts or finishes close to their personal bests."
