Kirkland, Wash. – Northwest University (9-5, 1-1 CCC) beat the University of Puget Sound (3-4) in a non-league game on Tuesday night. The final score was 86-76.

Hussayn Ford and Ryan Ricks both had 20-point games, with Ford getting 22 points, 12 rebounds, and three blocks, and Ricks securing 20 points and five rebounds. Nick Navarro added 18, going 9-10 from the free throw line.

Jaden Jenkins went down with an injury within the first minute, after going in aggressively for a rebound. The Loggers' Gabriel Chaikin was assessed a flagrant 2 foul and was ejected from the game. The Loggers' coaching staff received a technical as well.

Despite the odd start to the game, the Eagles won both halves of the game. After going down 68-70 late in the second half, Northwest's Ryan Ricks rattled off three straight three-pointers to put the Eagles up by seven. Neither team scored for three straight minutes even later in the second half, as the Eagles' defense held the Loggers to take the victory.
