Box Score 2 CALDWELL, Ida. – Great pitching in the second game allowed Northwest University to split with College of Idaho. Out of two games, Northwest was only able to score two runs, but still took home a victory.
Game One: Northwest University 0, College of Idaho 8 (6 Innings)
Northwest University (10-20 overall, 3-10 CCC) was able to get runners on base early in the inning, but was unable to find a way to bring them home.

Maggie Harshaw, and Karrie Barns all led the Eagles hitting 1 for 2.
College of Idaho (14-13 overall, 5-8 CCC) was dialed in on the Eagles and scored 8 runs in 6 innings with 12 hits. The Yotes had 3 homeruns and 2 doubles while holding the Eagles scoreless with only 3 hits.
Colette Robert had the game under control and never let up. She went 3 for 3, two RBI's, and one double on the day. She also struck out 7 Eagles in 6 innings and only gave up 3 hits. Trystin Crofts also had a big day for the Yotes. Crofts hit 3 for 4, with 4 RBI's, and 1 homerun.
Game Two: Northwest University 2, College of Idaho 1
Hannah Yelas of Northwest University, was able to shut down the offense of the College of Idaho Yotes. Yelas threw a complete game. She gave up 1 earned run and struck out 5 Yotes in 7 innings.
Alicia Loiler led the Eagles by hitting 2 for 3. The Eagles took the lead in the top of the 6
th inning and left the bases loaded with the Yotes made a pitching change.
The Eagles were able to take advantage of the College of Idaho errors by scoring 2 unearned runs to win the game. Trystin Crofts score the only run for the Yotes with a homerun in the 1
st inning. College of Idaho spread out all 6 hits to 6 different players.
