Box Score 2 Helena, Mont. - It has been a season of difficult weather for Northwest University Softball. Montana had a snowstorm work through the state moving several games in the league. The Eagles were able to play both games today at Capital High School in Helena, Mont.

Game One: Northwest University 1, Carroll College 5
Northwest University had a hard time against the Saints best pitcher Allison Williams. Williams is currently 11-0. She set a new single game school record striking out 12 Eagles. She gave up 1 unearned run on two hits and no walks.
Alicia Loiler picked up one of the hits for the Eagles and earned the only RBI when she doubled to left center field.
Yeawa Asabi also had a double down the left field line late in the game.
Rachel Hawley threw a complete game. She gave up 5 earned runs on 9 hits, and 2 strikeouts.

Carroll College scored early, and that was all they needed with Allison Williams pitching. Williams also hit a two-run homerun to left center in the bottom of the 3
rd inning. Bayer, Williams, and Mooney accounted for 6 of the Saints 9 hits. Each player went 2 for 3 with Mooney earning 3 RBI's and Williams 1 RBI. Williams took the game into her own hands.

Game two: Northwest University 4, Carroll College 6
Carroll College took advantage of the fielding errors of Northwest University by scoring 3 unearned runs to win the game by 2 runs.
Alicia Loiler led the Eagles with hitting 2 for 4 with 3 RBI's, 1 double, and 1 homerun.
Yeawa Asabi also went 2 for 4 with 1 RBI.
Rachel Hawley and
Hannah Yelas each pitched 3 innings giving up 5 hits each.

The Saints were led by Brittany Hogan who went 2 for 3 with 1 RBI. Carroll College started the game pitching Tess Eaton who is currently pitching 10-0. In the first 3 innings, Eaton gave up 3 hits, 2 earned runs, 2 walks, and 3 strikeouts. The Saints decided to bring in Brooke Brown as relief. Brown threw 4 innings giving up 4 hits, 2 earned runs, 1 walk, and 1 strikeout. The Saints had three players hit doubles: Anna ApRoberts, Allison Bayer, and Kendall Mooney.
