Northwest University Breaks the Programs Single Game Record by battling 15 Innings with No. 20 Oregon Tech.

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 KIRKLAND, Wash. – Northwest University played the shortest game allowed and the longest in the programs history on Friday morning. The first game, concluded in the 5th inning after the Owls took an early lead. The second game broke the programs record by lasting 15 innings.
 
Game One: Northwest University 1, No. 20 Oregon Tech 10 (5 Innings)
No. 20 Oregon Tech (32-11 overall, 19-6 CCC) hit the ball hard and scored 3 out of the 5 innings played. The Owl's started the seconding inning off by capitalizing on an error by the Eagles and scoring 2 unearned runs. Kiahna Brown led the Oregon Tech's hitting by hitting 2 2-run homeruns. The first homerun was hit in the top of the 3rd inning just over the left field fence. Brown, followed it up in the 4th inning by hitting the second homerun down the left field line. Loryn Williams was dominating in the circle. She threw a complete game allowing, 5 hits, 1 earned run, 1 walk, and 3 strikeouts in just 5 innings.
 
Northwest University (13-32 overall, 5-20 CCC), found themselves battling errors. The Eagles had 5 errors and 5 hits in the game. Hannah Yelas threw a complete game although it was not her best performance on the season. Yelas allowed 13 hits, 8 earned runs, 0 walks, and 0 strikeouts in 5 innings. The Eagles were able to score in the 4th inning when, Alicia Loiler hit a hard single to right center, bringing in Yeawa Asabi from second base.
 
Game Two: Northwest University 3, No. 20 Oregon Tech 7 (15 Innings)
Northwest University (13-33 overall, 5-21 CCC) gave every effort in taking a win from Oregon Tech but fell short. Oregon Tech out hit the Eagles 14-6 but the Eagles score in the bottom of the 7th inning to extend the game into extra innings. The game remained scoreless for 7 straight extra innings until the powerful Owls offense came alive. The Eagles found themselves trying to overcome the errors for the second game in a row. The Eagles had 6 errors and 6 hits with the first 3 runs scored against Northwest, being unearned. Yeawa Asabi led the Eagles by hitting 2 for 5 with 1 double and 2 RBI's. Rachel Hawley threw the first 9 innings allowing, 9 hits, 3 unearned runs, 3 walks, and 3 strikeouts. Stephanie Granger who pitched the rest of the game relieved her in the 10th inning. Granger allowed 5 hits, 4 runs, and 0 walks in 6 innings.
 
No. 20 Oregon Tech (33-11 overall, 20-6 CCC)  was led by Shayna Ige who hit 3 for 5 with 2 RBI's. Sarah Abramson was the most impressive, pitching all 15 innings. She held the Eagles to 6 hits, 1 earned run, 6 walks, and 17 strikeouts. The Owls spread the game out in the top of the 15th inning with Ali Graham hitting a 2-run homerun to extend the lead to 4.
