Jeff Drinkwine, with both losses last season to Montana Tech and Carroll at the Carroll Classic. The Eagles took the weekend off in 2017.

Northwest (4-3) does not often play Puget Sound (2-2) but scored an 86-76 win last season in the Kristi Brodin Pavilion. Hussayn Ford had 22 points and a dozen rebounds, and Ryan Ricks scored 20 with five three-pointers.

Christian Hakilimali is 10th in NAIA Division II with 5.4 assists per game. The Eagles are sixth nationally with 20 assists per game.

The Eagles are sixth nationally in total rebound margin at 12.4. Hussayn Ford leads that effort with 11.71 rebounds per game. He is fifth in the nation in total rebounds per game, as well as defensive rebounds per game at 8.86.

Northwest has five players averaging in double figures, led by Hussayn Ford at 16. Christian Hakilimali averages 13.7, followed by Cesar Sandoval at 12,
Dejwan Walker at 11, and Ryan Ricks at 10.1. Jase Paulsen is close at 9.6 with 67 points in seven games. NU averages 92.6 points per game, which is 14th in NAIA Division II.

The Eagles are coming off a 112-104 loss to Providence, who is ranked 12
th in the NAIA Division I Top 25. Jase Paulsen (20) and Christian Hakilimali (19) had career scoring highs.

Puget Sound is 2-2 on the season after a 65-58 win Saturday over Chapman. The Loggers are 0-1 against the Cascade Collegiate Conference with a 77-61 loss to Warner Pacific. Stellan Roberts averages 20.5 points, seven rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game to lead the team in all three categories.
