KIRKLAND – Northwest gets back home this weekend to take on Northwest Christian Friday and Corban Saturday. Both games start at 7:30 p.m. in Kristi Brodin Pavilion.
 
Northwest used six players in its 104-98 win at Multnomah Saturday to move to 12-6 overall and 7-2 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference. Tanner Davis had 26 points, and Hussayn Ford added 22 and tied his personal record with 18 rebounds. Christian Hakilimali had 18 points and nine assists.
 
The Eagles are 5-1 at home this season, with the loss being a two-point setback at the hands of No. 3 College of Idaho. Ryan Ricks has been strong in conference home games, averaging 16 points and barely trailing Christian Hakilimali's 16.3 points per conference home game. Ricks is shooting 45.8 percent from the Pav arch. Hussayn Ford averages 13.8 points and 12.8 rebounds in home CCC games.
 
Four Eagles average more than 10 points per game. Ford leads the team with 16.3 points per game, followed by Hakilimali at 13.6, Ricks at 13.4, and Dejwan Walker at 11.2. Davis is close at 9.5. 
 
Ford, who is averaging a double-double, leads the Eagles and is second in the nation with 12 rebounds per game. He is second nationally with 9.05 defensive rebounds per game and 42nd with 11.05 rebounds per game. NU is 15th in the nation with a 7.94 rebound margin.
 
Northwest is 11th in the NAIA with 17.33 assists per game. Hakilimali leads the Eagles and is ninth in NAIA II with 5.16 assists per game.
 
Ford has 15 double-doubles in 18 games this season and leads both divisions of the NAIA in that category. The NAIA Division I leader has 14.
 
Northwest beat Northwest Christian in Oregon, 71-69, last month. Ford had 20 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Eagles. Logan Davis and Stevie Schlabach had 16 points each for the Beacons. 
 
Northwest Christian has lost three straight outings, including a 77-74 setback Saturday at Southern Oregon. NCU is 9-10 overall and 4-5 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference. Ernest Ugoagu leads NCU with 18.9 points per game, followed by Stevie Schlabach with 14.1 and Kaden Sand with 11.7. The Beacons are third in the nation with 5.73 blocked shots per game, led by Shawn Carson with 1.47 per game.
 
NU beat Corban 78-71 on the road, with Ricks scoring 20 points. Ford (16 points, 11 rebounds) and Cesar Sandoval (10 points, 11 rebounds) had double-doubles. Beau Roggenbach led Corban with 15 points.
 
Corban enters the weekend at 9-12 overall and 3-8 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference after losing at Southern Oregon and Oregon Tech last weekend. The Warriors average 84.4 points per game, led by A.J. Hodges with 12.6 points per game.
