KIRKLAND – Northwest makes its sixth of seven trips to Oregon this weekend to take on No. 5 Oregon Tech Friday and No. 15 Southern Oregon Saturday in a pair of 7:30 p.m. games. The Eagles are 14-6 this season and 9-2 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference.
 
Northwest stretched its winning streak to three games with a 103-83 win over Corban Saturday. Hussayn Ford had 26 points and 14 rebounds, while Christian Hakilimali grabbed 22 points, and Ryan Ricks and Dejwan Walker contributed 16 each.
 
The Eagles are 6-5 in road games this season, including a remarkable 5-1 at Cascade Collegiate Conference schools. NU has been a negative five turnovers per game in CCC road games, but five Eagles (Ford 16.8, Ricks 15.2, Walker 13.6, Tanner Davis 12.2, and Hakilimali 10.2) average in double-figure scoring away from the Pavilion. 
 
Ford has 17 double-doubles in 20 games this season and leads both divisions of the NAIA in that category. The NAIA Division I leader has 15. Ford has 924 points and 572 career rebounds in 50 games at NU.
 
Northwest is 13th in the NAIA with 17.15 assists per game. Hakilimali leads the Eagles and is 10th in NAIA II with 5.05 assists per game.
 
Northwest is ninth nationally with its 50.3 field goal percentage. Hakilimali (55.4) and Ford (54.5) are 30th and 39th, respectively, in NAIA II. Ford leads the Eagles with 16.5 points per game, followed by Hakilimali at 14.4, Ricks at 13.6, and Walker at 11.2.
 
Northwest is No. 10 nationally in rebound margin at plus-8.35. Ford leads the Eagles and is second nationally with 12 rebounds per game. He is third in NAIA II with nine defensive rebounds and 21st with three offensive rebounds per game.
 
Northwest topped Oregon Tech 80-68 in December with a 28-point performance by Ricks. Ford added a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds. Mitchell Fink led the Owls with 21 points, with Seth Erickson going for 14 points and nine rebounds. 
 
Oregon Tech comes in at 16-5 overall with a 6-5 Cascade Collegiate Conference mark after weekend losses at Eastern Oregon and No. 3 College of Idaho. Seth Erickson leads the Owls with 17.3 points and 5.7 rebounds per game. Fink averages 16.8 points and leads NAIA II with 151 assists (7.55 per game). OIT is second nationally in rebound margin at plus-14.4 and leads the NAIA with 28.35 defensive rebounds per game.
 
Ricks scored the game-winner late as NU beat Southern Oregon 73-72 in Kirkland. Christian Hakilimali had 20 points, and Ford added a 14-11 double-double. Tez Allen led the Raiders with 18 points and nine rebounds.
 
Southern Oregon is 16-5 overall and 10-3 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference after splitting two close games at No. 3 College of Idaho (72-73) and Eastern Oregon (77-73) last weekend. Tate Hoffman leads SOU with 17.2 points per game, with Aaron Borich checking in at 13.1 points and 4.7 assists per game.
