KIRKLAND – Northwest signed Shelton High School standout Brody Knowles for the 2020-21 cross country and track seasons.
Knowles captains the SHS cross country team, which won a South Sound Conference title in 2018. He also runs the 400, 800, and 1600 meters.
"I'm excited about the potential that Brody has," said NU Head Coach
Mark Mandi. "I know that he is going to be a great fit with his character and personality, but from an athletic standpoint, his best years are ahead of him. He improved a ton each year in high school for cross country, and that was without doing track. I'm excited to see how he will develop in our program."
The son of Chuck and Lori Knowles, Brody is a member of Phi Theta Kappa and the National Honor Society. He intends to major in ministry and attends Gateway Christian Fellowship.
"I know I am called to go to Northwest," Brody said.
