KIRKLAND – Northwest received the eighth seed in the Cascade Collegiate Conference Men's Soccer Championship and plays top-seeded Warner Pacific at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 8, in Springfield, Ore.

The Knights defeated the Eagles 3-1 in the regular season. Warner Pacific won the regular-season title and already has an automatic berth into the NAIA opening round.

Other first-round match-ups have No. 2 Oregon Tech taking on No. 7 Evergreen State, also at 11 a.m., followed by two 2 p.m. matches. No. 3 Southern Oregon plays Rocky Mountain, and the fourth seed, Corban, takes on No. 5 College of Idaho.

All quarterfinal and semifinal contests are at Willamalane Park in Springfield. The semifinals are Nov. 10 at 4 p.m. The championship moves to Civic Park in Eugene on Friday, Nov. 12, at noon.

As the lowest seed in the tournament, Northwest would meet the highest remaining seed in each round to which it advances.

The winner of the tournament gets an automatic berth to the NAIA Tournament.
