KIRKLAND – Northwest and Evergreen State begin their Cascade Collegiate Conference schedule Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
 
Northwest leads the rivalry 29-13 and has a nine-game winning streak against Evergreen State. The Eagles won the last meeting in 2020, 73-68. No current Eagles scored in that game, and only Cole Langstraat from the current roster played. LaBrandon Price scored 24 points in that game and returns for the Geoducks.
 
Northwest is 1-2 after an 81-68 loss on the chin at Providence on Saturday. CaCoa Chatman led the Eagles with 21 points. Tanner Davis added 17 points, and Connor Drinkwine added 12 points. Chatman shared the rebound lead for the Eagles with Daniel Sharpe at six. Davis and Rayvaughn Bolton had three assists each.
 
Drinkwine leads the Eagles at 18.3 points per game this season, while Chatman averages 16 and Tanner Davis 10. 
 
Tanner Davis is shooting an incredible 72.2 percent from the field this season, scoring on 13 of his 18 field goal attempts. He also leads the team with 5.7 rebounds per game. 
 
Drinkwine is shooting 50 percent from three-point range, hitting on 12 of 24 attempts. He's also been perfect at the free-throw line, scoring on all 11 attempts.
 
Evergreen State is off to a 0-4 start after a 91-73 loss at George Fox on Saturday. Austin Curry leads the Geoducks at 19.3 points and 8.7 rebounds per game, with LaBrandon Price checking in at 17 points per game.
