KIRKLAND – Northwest celebrates the New Year's weekend with Oregon Tech visiting at 3 p.m. on Saturday and Southern Oregon coming in for a 3 p.m. game on Sunday.

The games were originally scheduled for New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, but poor travel conditions forced a one-day postponement.

In compliance with King County's mandate, Northwest University requires proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test, administered by a professional, within 72 hours of the scheduled start time. Â

Northwest is coming off of a 110-102 loss at Multnomah. Devontae Powell (20),
Kalai Akaka (18), and AJ Chappell (16) had career-scoring highs.
Daniel Sharpe added 17 points,
Connor Drinkwine 16, and
Rayvaughn Bolton 10.

Daniel Sharpe has looked more like his 2020-21 version of himself, averaging 16.3 points over the last three games to raise his season average to 6.8 points per game. In that same span,
Rayvaughn Bolton is averaging 16 points, and
Devante Powell is at 14.3. Bolton has averaged a team-leading 7.3 rebounds, and
Jason Brown Jr. has 4.1 assists per game.
