KIRKLAND – After seven games on the road, Northwest launches the home portion of its season with a pair of 4:30 p.m. games against Corban on Friday and Saturday in Kristi Brodin Pavilion.

Northwest swept the series last year, winning 78-71 in Salem and 103-83 in Kirkland. Those were the first NU wins in the series since 2017. The Eagles deployed only seven players in the win at home. Corban leads the all-time series 34-24.

Kelvin Omojola's 27-point game at Seattle Pacific was his first of the season, giving him the scoring lead for the Eagles. Cacoa Chatman is second at eight points per game, followed by
Daniel Sharpe at seven.

Cesar Sandoval leads the Eagles with nine rebounds in two games. He has seven defensive rebounds, while
Daniel Sharpe has secured five offensive rebounds in two counting games.

NU was 10-2 in Kristi Brodin Pavilion last season. The Eagles closed out last year's regular season on a six-game home-court winning streak.

These will be the first games for Corban men's basketball. The Warriors were 13-18 last season and matriculated its top three scorers. Mauricio Smith averaged 9.5 points and 4.5 rebounds for Corban last season.
