KIRKLAND – Northwest plays its final Cascade Collegiate Conference road games Sunday and Monday in Eugene, Oregon, against Bushnell.
Games begin at 2:30 p.m. on both days.
After its two losses last weekend, the Eagles are fourth in the West standings with 10 points. Oregon Tech and Corban are tied with 15 points, and Southern Oregon has 13. There is no path to first place for the Eagles that does not include two wins at Bushnell, unless Warner Pacific can upset or tie Corban in their upcoming series.
Northwest leads the all-time series with Bushnell 13-1-1 and has a 12-game win streak, dating back to a 0-0 tie in 2007. The lone NU loss was the first time the teams met in 2006.
Northwest won the game 5-0 last season, with
Rylee Rassier going for four goals and an assist.
Olivia Morris had a goal and an assist,
Callie Wright added two assists, and
Elizabeth Moretti had one.
Northwest comes off of a pair of 1-0 losses to Corban despite out-shooting the Warriors 19-10 for the series.
Callie Wright and
Anna Lau lead the Eagles with three goals each. Wright and Conner share the team lead with two assists apiece. Conner,
Olivia Morris,
Colette Liston, and
Sarah Hommas also have goals this season. Wright has put 21 shots on goal.
Bushnell is 0-9 on the season and 0-6 in CCC games after being swept by Oregon Tech, 8-0, 6-0, last week. Blake Danna has the team's only goal of the season, and Taylor Bryant has the only assist. The Beacons average 4.7 shots and 2.4 shots on goal per game.
