KIRKLAND – Northwest gets its first road test of 2022 with a game Saturday at Corban at 5 p.m. The game originally was slated for Friday but was pushed back a day due to impassable roads. The Eagles also receive a forfeit win over Bushnell due to COVID-19 protocols with the Beacons.
Corban requires fans to wear masks at indoor events. As of Jan. 3, neither school was requiring proof of the vaccine. Be sure to check for updates on each school website.

The Eagles dropped their fourth consecutive game, falling 72-69 to Southern Oregon on Sunday. NU is 5-7 overall and 2-5 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference.
Rayvaughn Bolton led the Eagles with 16 points and seven rebounds.
Connor Drinkwine added 13 points,
CaCoa Chatman scored 11 and had five assists, and
Tanner Davis scored 10.

Bolton leads the Eagles at 13.3 points and 1.7 steals per game. Davis averages 10.6 points and a team-leading 5.8 rebounds per game. Chatman is the assists leader at 4.1 per game to go with his 10.9 scoring average. Drinkwine averages 12 points per game.

NU and Corban split two games last spring in Kirkland. Corban won the last game, 84-77. Chatman had 17 points,
Pa'Treon Lee added 15, and
Cole Langstraat tossed in 10 points. Kendall Moore had 14 for Corban. The Warriors lead the series 42-26.

Jordan Newt leads Corban at 11.9 points per game and 22 steals. The Warriors are 7-8 overall and 2-5 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference after a 74-54 loss Saturday at home against the College of Idaho. Corban is 2-3 at home this season.
