KIRKLAND – Northwest visits Evergreen State in a Cascade Collegiate Conference contest on Friday and then hosts a non-conference game with Pacific Lutheran this weekend. The game in Olympia begins at 7:30 p.m., and the home date with the Lutes starts at 7 p.m.
 
The Eagles have a 31-13 lead in the Evergreen State rivalry and have won the last 11 games against the Geoducks. Northwest won in Olympia last season, 71-62, and hasn't lost on ESC's home floor since 2016.
 
NU is 10-9 in the Pacific Lutheran series, but the teams haven't met since 2017.
 
Northwest moved to 4-3 on the season after posting a 95-74 win over Walla Walla on Saturday. Drew Bryson led the way with 28 points, including eight three-pointers. Coa Chatman added 17 points, Brody Steinhart scored 15, and Isaiah Williams turned in a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Lewis Pope led the rebounding effort with 11.
 
The guard tandem of CaCoa Chatman and Drew Bryson is coming into the weekend on fire. Chatman had 30 points against Lewis-Clark State and 17 against Walla Walla. Bryson had 23 against the Warriors and 28 against the Wolves. That tandem was 34-55 (61.8 percent) from the field for the weekend and 18-for-33 (54.5 percent) from three-point range. 
 
Drew Bryson leads the Eagles with 19.9 points per game while shooting a rock-solid 50 percent from the field and 46.2 percent from three-point land. He also contributes 4.9 rebounds per game.
 
After an early shooting slump, CaCoa Chatman is averaging 13.7 points per game and stands at 40 percent from the field and 32.6 percent from three-point range. He is shooting 50 percent from three-point range (9-18) over the last three games. 
 
Evergreen State is 1-4 overall and 1-1 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference after an 80-56 loss at home to Lewis-Clark State on Saturday. Four Geoducks average double figures in scoring, led by Jourdan Joseph at 12.0. Tyler Williford gets 10.8 points and leads ESC with 8.3 rebounds per game. 
 
Pacific Lutheran is 2-4 this season following an 81-80 loss at home to Whitworth. Five Lutes average double figures in the scoring column, with Sam Noland leading that effort with 13.2 points per game. Sean McCurdy averages 11 points and 7.5 rebounds, and Jordan Thomas gathers 10.8 points and 7.3 rebounds per game. Thomas also leads the team with 22 assists and a dozen steals.
