KIRKLAND – After nine games outside of Washington, Northwest takes on Carroll College this weekend in the first home games for the Eagles. NU plays doubleheaders with the Saints at 5 p.m. on Friday and 2 p.m. on Saturday.
Northwest is 33rd nationally with six home runs. The Eagles also are 25th in the NAIA with 10 sacrifice bunts.

Northwest enters the Carroll series batting .304 as a team.

The Eagles come into the weekend with a 5.96 earned run average, led by
Sydney Maurer at 4.50.
Bella King has a team-high 22 innings pitched, and
Becca Rennick leads with 11 strikeouts.
Northwest came up short in a four-loss weekend at top-ranked Oregon Tech, though the Eagles pushed the Owls to extra innings in the second game.
Jessica Nunes batted .500, and
Emily Barry hit .444.
Kayla Stanley had two home runs and three RBIs.
The Eagles are 7-10 all time against Carroll after splitting four games with the Saints last season. NU averaged 7.5 runs per game against CC last season.
Carroll comes in at 1-9 overall and 0-3 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference after dropping four home games to Corban last weekend. Kirsten Norris leads the Saints with a .480 batting average and .840 slugging percentage. Ellie Koreber hits .471 and leads CC with a .609 on-base percentage. The Saints bat .286 as a team with an 8.09 earned run average. Abby Hanley leads the pitching staff with a 1-4 record and a 3.96 ERA.
