KIRKLAND – Northwest steps out of the Cascade Collegiate Conference for the final time this season with a Tuesday doubleheader against Western Washington at 5 p.m. at Bellevue College.

Northwest improved to 7-15 overall and 4-8 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference when it took two of three from Corban on Friday, winning that series for the first time in school history.
Madisyn Leffle batted .417 with three stolen bases,
Kayla Stanley hit .400 with a home run and was hit by a pitch four times, and
Abby Blahut, who entered the series with one hit this season, went 4-10.
Bella King got two pitching wins, and
Sydney Maurer allowed no earned runs over seven innings.

Top-ranked Oregon Tech and Northwest are the only Cascade Collegiate Conference teams to have scored in every game this season. NU has scored in all 22 games this season and has a scoring streak of 31 games dating back to last season. It is the longest continuous streak. The single-season scoring streak was 16 games, set in 2015.

Northwest is fifth in the Cascade Collegiate Conference with a team batting average of .282. The Eagles have four everyday players hitting above .300, led by
Emily Barry at .408.
Jordan Dippel hits .333,
Abby Blahut hits .313, and
Madisyn Leffle checks in at .303.

The Eagles are sixth in the Cascade Collegiate Conference with a 5.14 earned run average.
Sydney Maurer leads the team with a 3.18 ERA,
Bella King tops the team with four wins and 56 innings, and
Becca Rennick has a team-leading 22 strikeouts.

Western Washington is 11-13 overall and coming off of a 2-2 split with Northwest Nazarene last week. The Vikings are hitting .284 as a team, led by Tatum Dow at .380. Macy Tarbox has four home runs, and Dakota Brooks leads WWU with 20 RBIs.Â
