KIRKLAND – Northwest travels to Caldwell, Idaho, for a four-game set with third-ranked College of Idaho on Friday and Saturday.

Northwest is 5-10 this season after taking three of four games from Carroll last weekend. The Eagles batted .324 for the weekend, led by
Jordan Dippel (.636),
Jessica Nunes (.545), and
Emily Barry (.500).

Northwest, making its third consecutive trek to the College of Idaho, is 7-27 in the series. The Yotes have won 13 of the last 14 games, including five one-run games.

Ranked second in the NAIA preseason poll, College of Idaho is 18-2 this season and on a 17-game winning streak. The Yotes are batting .334 as a squad, led by Tanner Higgins at .462 and Kaily Christensen at .418. Hattie Hruza bats .370 and leads the team with four home runs. Those three players have combined for 67 RBIs this season. CI has a 2.72 team earned run average, led by Katelyn Wilfer at 5-1 with a 0.99 ERA.
