KIRKLAND – Northwest makes its trek to Montana this week for four games against the University of Providence in Great Falls. The teams play doubleheaders at 1 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday (Pacific time).

Northwest got the conference win in a doubleheader split with British Columbia on Tuesday, leaving the Eagles at 11-25 overall and 8-13 in the league.

Northwest bats .277 as a team, led by
Jordan Dippel who checks in at .352.
Emily Barry is batting .336, and
Madisyn Leffle hits .316. Barry is the team leader with five home runs and 25 runs batted in.

The Eagles are seventh in the Cascade Collegiate Conference with a 4.76 earned run average.
Sydney Maurer leads the team with a 4.38 ERA,
Bella King tops the team with seven wins and 96 innings, and
Becca Rennick has a team-leading 36 strikeouts.

Providence has a 10-7 lead in the all-time series with Northwest, with 11 of the 17 games having been played in Montana. NU won the last meeting, 17-4, with
Jessica Nunes ripping two home runs for six RBIs.

Providence, who has a doubleheader against Carroll on Wednesday, enters the week at 1-21 overall and 0-15 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference. The Argos bat .230 as a team, led by Taylor Mathews at .391. The team carries an 8.43 earned run average, with Carter Thornton as the primary starter at 0-10 with a 5.83 ERA.
