PORTLAND, OR - The Eagles opened their season with a strong 108-50 win over Portland Bible College. 

Northwest logged an impressive 34 rebounds and 15 steals in the night. Antonio Salinas led the team with 21 points, followed by Lewis Pope with 17 and Manuel Zapater with 14. Anthony Howard took home seven rebounds. 

"I like how we shared the ball with 20 assists," said NU Head Coach Rick Skeen. "It was good to have four guys in double figures, and it is always good to start with a road win. Excited to get back to practice and get to work!"

The Eagles head to Tacoma next Monday to face Pacific Lutheran at 7 p.m.
