"I'm pleased with how we played today," says Head Coach Gary McIntosh. "Gonzaga is a very good division I opponent. We had a game plan that we had worked on all week and we executed it really well and got a fair result. Our team fought very hard for each other which is something we've been talking about for the last couple weeks. The goal by Brayden was absolutely stunning, it was the best goal of the game by far. Overall, tonight was a good step forward for us and something we can build on moving forward."
As part of moving forward, the Eagles will host their first home match of the season this Saturday, August 24th, at 4PM against Pacific University.
