"Great meet for the team," said Head Coach Mark Mandi. "They competed extremely well. Loved seeing how they prayed for and encouraged not only their teammates but also their competitors. Elizabeth Behnke broke her own school record in the 200m dash on Saturday, looking powerful and quick as she heads into the last few meets of her collegiate career. Rachel Elliot won her heat in her season debut at 1,500m, taking the lead at 900m and pulling away from the field from there. Jarron Ransford ran one of his best college races, making great decisions throughout the race. Scott Baisden had the best race of his season in the 400 hurdles, closing his race fast to dip under the conference qualifying mark. Josiah Jaquith continues to show his versatility, just missing out on a conference qualifier in the 5k with a nearly 30 second personal best. Karina Foree was at her best today in both the javelin and high jump, hitting personal bests in both events. Jenisha had a big PR in the hammer throw to start off our day early in the morning."
Â
"On Friday, Brennan and Marissa finished second in the 10k and 5k, respectively, and looked really strong running in warmer weather than we're used to. Silas had a huge series of throws in the javelin and ended up improving 6 meters in the event."
Â
"We are wrapping our covers in the next few weeks for most of the team. Looking forward to a strong finish."Â
