Hannah Lord, former Northwest University student-athlete and the first head coach of the NU Beach Volleyball program has recently been diagnosed with brain cancer. Hannah has undergone surgery to remove the tumor and will begin chemotherapy as she continues to battle the disease.

Hannah was a student-athlete on the indoor volleyball team from 2017-2021 and joined the staff as the first Beach Volleyball Head Coach in 2022. She was instrumental in helping launch the beach volleyball program those first two years.
