You can now effortlessly search, reserve, propose, and financially support Northwest University student-athletes for NIL initiatives through a compliant platform designed with the athletes' interests at heart.
 
What is NIL?
NIL provides a set of rules that allow athletes to profit from their own name, image, and likeness through endorsements, sponsorships, or other commercial opportunities.
 
Examples of how student-athletes could use their name, image, and likeness:

• Promote their own business
• Promote a corporate entity (e.g., brand ambassador, social media influencer)
• Establish their own camp/clinic
• Make an appearance at any location and receive compensation
• Sign autographs and receive compensation

 
What does it look like?

• All NU athletes will receive the opportunity to create an Opendorse profile, where they can customize and promote their own personal brand.
• Athletes review opportunities and adhere to the Opendorse and university guidelines to accept compensation.
