Northwest Lands Three on Cascade Collegiate Conference Men’s Basketball All-Conference Honorable Mention List

KIRKLAND, Wash. – Three members of the Northwest University men's basketball team were recognized for their performances during the 2025–26 season, earning All-Conference Honorable Mention honors from the Cascade Collegiate Conference.

Junior guard Christian Watkins, junior forward Logan Stempniak, and senior guard Trent Williams each received the recognition following strong seasons for the Eagles.

Watkins averaged 11.9 points per game while contributing 4.4 rebounds per game for Northwest. The junior guard shot 40.1% from the field and was a consistent contributor on both ends of the floor throughout conference play. Stempniak led the trio in scoring, averaging 13.2 points per game while pulling down 5.3 rebounds per contest. The junior forward shot 44.4% from the field, providing the Eagles with a steady scoring presence in the frontcourt.

Williams capped off his senior season with an efficient year offensively, shooting 47.4% from the field while averaging 10.4 points per game and 4.1 rebounds per game. His leadership and experience played an important role for Northwest throughout the season.

"I'm very proud of each of them as they consistently put up numbers for us this season," said Northwest Head Coach Rick Skeen. "It's really a team honor as their teammates had to do their part to put them in those positions. One of the things I am most proud of with this team is that five guys averaged double figures—these three along with Lucius and Andrew. That is a rarity in college basketball and speaks to the balance and teamwork of this group."

The three Eagles helped lead Northwest throughout the 2025–26 campaign, contributing to a balanced offensive attack and a competitive season in the Cascade Collegiate Conference.
