KIRKLAND, Wash. – Northwest University track and field has put together a strong outdoor campaign, highlighted by multiple Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) qualifiers and national qualifying performances. Throughout the season, the Eagles have continued to build momentum with consistent marks, personal bests, and competitive finishes across a wide range of events.
Northwest has seen several athletes secure conference qualifying standards, led by standout performances in both track and field events. Isaiah Hollinger and Luke Posey each earned CCC qualification in the men's javelin, while Evelyn Tomka qualified on the women's side in the same event.
On the track, Josiah Jaquith has led the way with conference qualifying marks in the 5000m, 1500m, 800m, and 400m hurdles, showcasing his versatility across multiple distances. Rachel Elliott added a CCC qualifying mark in the women's 1500m, continuing her consistent performances throughout the season.
In the field events, Ethan White secured conference qualifying marks in both the triple jump and long jump, contributing to the Eagles' depth across event groups.
Northwest has also produced national-level performances, with two athletes earning qualification to compete on the national stage. Jaquith qualified in the men's 3000m steeplechase, while Elliott secured her spot in the women's 800m, marking a significant achievement for both athletes and the program.
As the postseason approaches, the Eagles continue to show progress and depth across the roster. With strong performances throughout the outdoor season, Northwest will look to carry that momentum into the CCC Track and Field Championships and beyond.
