Northwest University Men's Soccer Announces 2026 Schedule

KIRKLAND, Wash. – Northwest University men's soccer has announced the Eagles' 2026 schedule, featuring a competitive slate of preseason match ups, six home conference contests, and a challenging Cascade Collegiate Conference schedule.

The Eagles will begin preparations with three exhibition matches, opening with the annual Alumni Scrimmage on Aug. 8 before hosting Skagit Valley College on Aug. 12. Northwest will conclude its exhibition schedule on the road against Saint Martin's University on Aug. 15.

Northwest officially opens the regular season on Aug. 22 when the Eagles host George Fox University at the NU Athletic Field. The Eagles then head to Oregon to face Pacific University on Aug. 25 before returning home to take on Ottawa University Arizona, on Aug. 29. Northwest closes its non-conference slate with a road contest at Gonzaga University on Aug. 30 before hosting Pacific Lutheran University on Sept. 1 and Simpson University on Sept. 11.

Cascade Collegiate Conference play begins at home Sept. 18 as the Eagles welcome Southern Oregon University, followed by Oregon Tech on Sept. 19. Northwest then embarks on its first conference road trip with matches at Carroll College on Sept. 24 and Rocky Mountain College on Sept. 26.

The Eagles return to Kirkland on Oct. 3 to host the University of Providence before another home conference weekend against Bushnell University on Oct. 9 and Corban University on Oct. 10.

Northwest closes the regular season with four consecutive road weekends, traveling to Walla Walla University (Oct. 16), Warner Pacific University (Oct. 18), The Evergreen State College (Oct. 24), College of Idaho (Oct. 30), and Eastern Oregon University (Oct. 31).

The 2026 schedule features 18 regular-season matches, including eight contests at the NU Athletic Field. With a balanced mix of regional non-conference opponents and a demanding CCC schedule, the Eagles will look to build momentum throughout the fall as they compete for a conference postseason berth.

Head Coach Gary McIntosh is excited about the opportunities the schedule presents for his team. "This is a great schedule for our team," said McIntosh. "The preseason match ups will really test us and prepare us for conference play, and with the number of guys returning this year, we couldn't be more excited to get practice going and kick off the season. Our returning experience, combined with the competition we'll face early, should put us in a great position to grow together and be ready for the challenges of the CCC."
