Gary McIntosh, NU head coach, "We had a game plan and it was not working as the game went along, but we made some adjustments and they worked for us. Our defense continues to not allow teams to have good looks at our goal. Taylor Tuner was instrumental in helping set up the first goal. Branson was superb on the day with two goals and an assist.
Daniel Christenson was solid in goal again today. We have guys stepping up and making things happen in the absence of players with injuries. This team just has the will and desire not to be beaten."
The two teams will meet again in Salem on October 29. Northwest U hosts Concordia in another key CCC match-up this Saturday while Corban will travel to play Oregon Tech in Klamath Falls.
